A Little Snapshot Of My Family And Me

Beautiful Yorkshire is where I live with my hubby and best friend Michael. Meeting thirty eight years ago at the tender age of sixteen, we have been husband and wife for thirty four years now and counting!!!

We love travel . .
both in the UK in our campervan and visiting the sandy shores abroad.
We love festivals, concerts, the theatre and we just love any kind of water based activities. Open water swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding. We swam Loch Ness in 2022 as part of a family relay team, which is one of our proudest moments.

I’m a very lucky mum of two grown up children, and so far I have been blessed with three beautiful grandchildren Isabella, Zack and Alfie who have been my total inspiration for writing. We also have another little companion, however he is of white furry variety and caleed Casper.

I worked in the corporate world up until 2014, at which point I decided to have a change of direction and became a self employed graphic designer.

I now design and sell bespoke personalised greetings cards and stationery all over the world. Even though the business is flourishing, I still had a desire to add more to my portfolio. So when grandchildren came into my world, who are obsessed with picture story books, it didn’t take long to realise what my next step was going to be.

I have written three childrens books so far, and will be working on my next book shortly.

I'm so proud to say I’m an author, I truly hope you and your little ones enjoy reading my books as much as I enjoyed writing and publishing them.

In the meantime, whether at home or on location in the countryside in our campervan
I will carry on writing . . .
